Paradise City Progressives believe a government that doesn't work for the people doesn't work. We expect an office of conservation that's empowered to protect our environment, a planning and sustainability department that seriously studies the sustainability and impact of every plan and project, a historic preservation commission actually tasked with preserving our historic assets, and a yearly budget that believes and invests in our public schools and institutions.
We believe that a government that consistently casts the public as its opposition deserves nothing but opposition from that public. A counterbalance to Northampton's one-party corporate conservatism is long overdue. Paradise City Progressives are that counterbalance.
